Exchange Programs for Visiting Students & Faculty
Global Fairfield Student Exchange programs can be a semester, a year, or even a summer experience!
Our Exchange and Student Mobility programs bring students from around the world to Fairfield University for a semester of learning and exploration. Global Fairfield has exchange agreements with 8 universities worldwide. Fairfield exchange students who would like to study on one of these campus must follow the application timeline for semester or year abroad programs. For visiting student mobility students, they must be nominated by their home university before applying through Global Fairfield. Applicants must be in good academic standing at their home university, and students who are non-native English speakers must demonstrate a high level of English proficiency. Accepted international students take classes alongside their American and other international peers, and choose courses from the regular Fairfield University offerings in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Health Sciences/Nursing. Our program offers welcome orientation, on-campus housing, cultural activities, and social programming. Our current exchange partners include:

- Maastricht University - Maastricht, Netherlands
- Sogang University - Sogang, South Korea
- Universidad Católica del Uruguay - Montevideo, Uruguay
- Universidad del Sagrado Corazón - San Juan, Puerto Rico
- University of Galway - Galway, Ireland
- Universidad Pontificia Comillas - Madrid, Spain
