Semester/Year Fairfield Students
Global Fairfield has a variety of semester and year-long programs for Fairfield University students to explore.
Global Fairfield has partnerships with international partners in 7 countries: Australia, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK, that fall into our Global Partner category. Fairfield has worked with our partners in these locations to create tailored programming to help our students achieve a specific international experience. Students on these programs earn Fairfield credit and grade. Students have 24/7 on-site support in the areas of academics, housing and personal well-being. All locations offer robust curricular offerings that will keep students progressing toward graduation. Many locations offer Customized Academic Programs that will result in an academic credential upon completion. Students in these locations are also encouraged to engage beyond the classroom through service projects, field learning and facilitated cultural engagement. The on-site support team is also responsible for providing a tailored orientation, airport transfers and cultural excursions. Another unique opportunity is the option for students to enroll in an international internship as one of their classes.
We also have Fairfield partner programs that are available in the semester format. These partners offer Fairfield University students opportunities in Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia. Some of these partners are with our Jesuit University network from around the world in areas of study ranging from Engineering to International Studies. These programs offer course work that will earn students transfer credit. These programs offer both domestic and international program options. for Students have 24/7 on-site support in the areas of academics, housing and personal well-being through our partnership. All locations offer robust curricular offerings that will keep students progressing toward graduation. Students in these locations are also encouraged to engage beyond the classroom through service projects, field learning and facilitated cultural engagement. Many of our semester programs offer Internships/practicums and service opportunities which are directed to their field of study and professional development. Students who study on a semester program will pay their Fairfield tuition, room and fees. Financial aid support may be used with these programs.
