J-term Travel Programs with IAU
Please remember, Fairfield University will be closed from December 23rd – January 2nd for the holiday. If during this time you test positive with COVID or experience a family emergency which will delay your program participation, please call Fairfield University Public Safety at 203-254-4090 and email globalfairfield@fairfield.edu. A member of Global Fairfield will respond to assist.

All students are encouraged to review the IAU COVID Preparedness Plan for J-term Participants. In addition, the pre-departure orientation presentations have been uploaded to the students studioabroad account for future reference.

Action Plan if You Test Positive Before Departure but Quarantine ends BEFORE your Departure Date:
- Maintain a complete record of all test results (positive and negative)
- Notify Global Fairfield (email - globalfairfield@fairfield.edu)
- Get rest!
- Schedule your COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) prior to departure for or necessary documentation required for arrival into the country. Entry requirements are communicated directly by IAU staff.
- Bring your negative tests result and proof of vaccination with you to the airport
- Maintain a complete record of all test results (positive and negative)
- Notify Global Fairfield and IAU France of the date of your positive test result and last day in quarantine (email - globalfairfield@fairfield.edu and jessica.calhoun@iau.edu)
- Work directly with your airline or Scholartrip to change your arrival ticket accordingly; to contact the 24/7 ScholarTrip support number, please call 855-452-0376.
- Provide email globalfairfield@fairfield.edu and jessica.calhoun@iau.edu with your modified arrival details.
- Schedule your COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) prior to departure for or necessary documentation required for arrival into the country. Entry requirements are communicated directly by IAU staff.
- Bring all test results, and proof of vaccination and original flight itinerary with you to the airport
