Study Abroad requires all students be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and due to recent regulatory changes in Europe regarding COVID students will need to verify that their vaccination date on their CDC vaccination White Card is not more than 9 months before their intended departure date from Europe.
If the month and date of your date of vaccination precedes your program end date -- you will need to obtain a COVID vaccination booster. You may choose to receive this booster from Fairfield at the Booster Clinic on December 10th or from an external provider. If you receive your booster from an external provider you will need to register that booster with Fairfield as you previously did with your original vaccination - email@example.com. If you have any questions please contact your study abroad advisor or Global Fairfield.
The AIFS Abroad Team continues to work with their onsite staff, insurance and global risk management resources and partner universities abroad to implement and modify a flexible plan which reflects the ever-changing realities of running a program in a pandemic. AIFS continues to gather information from multiple sources and will continue to make well-informed and timely decisions. Below you'll find answers to some key questions regarding the AIFS health and safety review and practices.
