IQS InformationWith the aim to ensure the health of their students and the entire educational community, IQS has developed a Contingency Plan for the beginning of the academic year that includes safety measures concerning COVID-19. This plan details all the actions and provisions to be implemented taking into account the context of the beginning of the 2020-21 academic year in which the security measures for COVID-19 must remain in place.
The safety measures that will remain in place are based on the possible presence of SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, continuing to wear masks, keeping social distancing between people, and regularly cleaning hands with hand sanitizer or soap and water, and so on will remain necessary.

Barcelona, Spring 2022
Please read this document carefully to ensure that you understand entry requirements for Spain.
What are the entry requirements for Spain?
• Proof of Vaccination: All U.S. passport-holders must show proof of vaccination in order to enter Spain. Students should have their CDC vaccine card with them in order to present this to border officials. Students who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 booster are required to get this prior to participating in the program.
• Spain Travel Health Form: Prior to boarding a flight to Spain, all travelers are required to complete the Spain Travel Health Form online. After completing this form, travelers will be sent a QR code, which they will need to present prior to boarding their flight to Spain. It is recommended that students also review the information on the Spain Ministry of Health website.
Do I need to present a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter Spain?
If you are flying directly from the U.S. to Spain, you are not required to present a COVID-19 test in order to enter.
If I have a layover in another country before entering Spain, do I need to show a negative COVID-19 test?
If you are not flying directly from the U.S. to Spain and have a layover in another country, you may need to present a negative COVID-19 test in accordance with regulations in the country of your layover. If you have a layover in another country other than Spain, please contact your airline as soon as possible to verify requirements. Sherpa can also be a helpful resource to help determine entry requirements.
