Excellent public transportation allows students to explore nearby cities, beaches and islands.
Upon arrival, all students will participate in a comprehensive orientation program to help familiarize them with their local surroundings, discuss health and safety as well as acquaint them with university and program resources.
Students will attend classes at Australian Catholic University (ACU) which offers a variety of subject areas, a low faculty-to-student ratio, and comprehensive student support. Students are required to take 4 content courses for a total of 16 credits. All participants will have the opportunity to replace one of their courses with a for-credit internship.
Fairfield University, a Jesuit institution, is a fully accredited university and member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. All students will receive a Fairfield University transcript with letter grades.
Internship opportunities are available to all students for 4 credits. This opportunity provides practical work experience and insight into the Australian workplace in a variety of professional fields.
